Since April 2025 we’ve been blending Green Lightning plasma fertilizer into our monthly Nature’s Brew applications.
The results have been so good that I want every homeowner, landscaper, and industry pro to understand why this is simply better than the old way.
The Old Way vs. the New Way (Explained Simply)
Traditional NPK fertilizers (urea at 46% N or liquid UAS at ~25% N) have to go through three slow steps before your lawn can use them:
- Urea → ammonia
- Ammonia → nitrite
- Nitrite → nitrate (the only form most plants actually want)
A lot of that nitrogen is lost to the air or runs off — especially if you miss the rain.
Green Lightning skips all three steps.
It arrives as ready-to-use nitrate — the exact form the plant can take up immediately through leaves or roots.
Tissue tests show nitrate levels in the plant rise fast, then drop as it’s turned into real growth. Same performance as urea… but with dramatically less total nitrogen and almost no waste.
Less Really Is More
Green Lightning tests at only 85 mg of nitrate per liter — that’s tiny compared to traditional bags.
Yet when we blend it into Nature’s Brew (our living biological system of molasses, kelp, squid juice, microbes, fulvic acid, and Sea-90 minerals), the results are outstanding:
- Faster, cleaner green-up without the “flush and crash” of heavy urea
- Deeper roots and better drought tolerance
- Stronger natural resistance to insects and disease
- Less water and fewer applications needed over time
We’re not feeding the lawn more nitrogen.
We’re feeding the biology so the lawn can feed itself — the true 2026 way.
